On Saturday 1 November 2025, Launceston's streets and laneways will host a string of venues where winemakers will be on hand to pour and talk about their wines. It's an afternoon for wandering between spots, sampling different styles and collecting the kind of wine trivia that makes dinner party small talk marginally more impressive.

Start at whichever venue takes your fancy and grab something to eat, then stroll at your own pace with a glass in hand. Each stop has a winemaker ready to pour and answer questions, so you can linger over a favourite or move on to the next place. It's a self guided tasting walk rather than a formal tour, so the pace is up to you and no one will be grading your swirling technique.
