If you have ever suspected that bugs are secretly running the world with their hidden talents, here is your chance to get the evidence. In this afternoon session at the Museum at Inveresk, you will poke around the weird and wonderful abilities of Earth's tiniest critters. We are talking superspeed, super strength, camouflage that would make a spy jealous, and biofluorescence that puts a nightclub to shame. Then you get to design your own super bugs to take home, because frankly, the world needs more tiny superheroes.
The whole thing runs for an hour on Tuesday 21 July 2026, from half past one to half past two in the afternoon. It costs seven dollars and fifty one cents, which is presumably the exact price of one very fancy beetle. It is at the Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk, 2 Invermay Road, Invermay, just a short drive from Launceston. Come along and find out why your garden is basically a Marvel movie.
